PUBLICATION HISTORY

Historical publications show when concepts were described publicly. They do not replace today’s validation.

The three-part APS series in TRADERS’ magazine is an important part of the development history. It publicly documents the concepts and practical examples presented at that time. On the current website, those sources are listed with exact bibliographic detail while remaining clearly separated from current evidence, later system states and the Version 2 revalidation programme.

The three-part article series on the Angriffsplan-Strategie

The original German titles and issue details are retained below. They are bibliographic records, not newly translated official titles. Short English descriptions explain their role in the development history.

WHAT THE SERIES ESTABLISHES

A public development record, not independent confirmation.

The articles establish that the APS concepts were publicly described by 2019 and discussed in a specialist trading publication. They help establish the provenance and timing of terminology, mechanisms and development stages.

At the same time, the publications were written by the developer of APS. The tests and interpretations presented there are therefore historical primary sources from the author’s perspective. The current website does not treat them as an independent scientific replication.

Current classification
  • The original source and the current assessment are kept separate.
  • Historical performance language does not automatically become a current product claim.
  • Historical comparison tests remain labelled as historical findings.
  • Current statements follow the currently documented data, rule and validation state.
FROM PUBLICATION TO THE CURRENT FRAMEWORK

The articles are one stage of the development, not its endpoint.

The source record extends beyond the magazine series. Workbooks, simulations, presentations and later portfolio versions document how the risk layer changed before and after 2019.

2013

Early risk manager

High-watermark, stop and permission logic form documented precursors of later APS mechanics.

2017–2018

Simulation & integrated workbooks

Stages, warning states, protection and operational analysis are combined in more comprehensive APS versions.

2019

Public article series & comparisons

The three-part TRADERS’ series makes the core concept publicly traceable; historical comparison studies also exist from the period.

2020

Portfolio version

The development reaches a centralised 16-instrument version and extends the perspective beyond a single market.

2026

APS Risk Layer in the framework

APS is separated from signal and execution logic as a distinct risk layer and prepared for an isolated re-test of its incremental contribution.

SOURCE PRINCIPLE

Historical sources are not rewritten until their original meaning disappears.

The objective is not to make earlier work sound as though it had already been produced under today’s validation standard. Instead, the record should show what was published at the time, what was added later and which questions are now being re-examined systematically.

Consequence for readers

A historical statement should be identifiable as belonging to a particular development state. A current statement should be traceable to the present data, rule and test conditions.

CONTINUE

The historical source record and today’s methodology belong together – but they should not be conflated.
